Quinta da Lameirinha is a private, exclusive-use estate in Baião, in Portugal's Douro Valley, about 45 minutes from Porto Airport. Over Christmas and New Year, from 19 December 2026 to 4 January 2027, the whole house is let to one group only: four bedrooms, up to 10 guests, an outdoor jacuzzi for five and a fireplace in the living room. Stays start at €650 per night, with a minimum of three nights. A private Christmas dinner, cooked at the house by a chef, can be arranged for the 24th or the 25th.

One house. One Christmas.
You arrive to the fire already laid and a welcome basket on the table. There are no other guests, no reception, no shared corridors. Just the house, the valley and the people you came with.
Mornings are slow. Afternoons can be a walk through the vines, a drive to Amarante or a visit to the Romanesque churches of the Rota do Românico. In the evening the jacuzzi steams under a cold sky and the living room fills with the warmth of the fire.
Christmas dinner, at home
On the night of the 24th or the 25th, a private chef cooks at the house. Choose a traditional Portuguese consoada, with bacalhau and the sweets of a northern Portuguese Christmas Eve, or a menu adapted to your own traditions. The table seats ten. Priced on request.
New Year in the valley
See the year out by the fire pit, with Douro wine and the quiet of the hills. Three nights from 30 December is enough to arrive, celebrate and leave rested.

Three nights over Christmas start at €1,950 for the whole estate. Shared between eight guests, that is about €244 per person for the house, the jacuzzi, the fire and complete privacy. Pool heating is available as an extra, from €370 per stay.
