Where is Quinta da Lameirinha Douro?

How far is it from Porto?

About 45 minutes by car from Porto Airport and from the city centre. We can arrange a private transfer from the airport or from your hotel in Porto.

Is Baião really in the Douro Valley?

Yes. Baião sits on the western side of the Douro Valley, the greener and quieter part of the valley, and the closest to Porto. The best-known wine towns of the Douro make a good day trip by car: Peso da Régua is about 72 km away (around 1 hour 10 minutes) and Pinhão about 86 km (around 1 hour 30 minutes).

How many guests can stay?

Up to 10 guests. The house has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a separate WC.

Will we share the estate with other guests?

No. The estate is always rented for exclusive use. The house, gardens, pool and jacuzzi are yours alone during your stay.

Is the pool heated?

The saltwater pool can be heated on request, at an additional cost. The outdoor jacuzzi for up to five people is included.

What is there to enjoy outside?

A garden and orchard, an outdoor dining area with a barbecue, a fire pit for the evenings and the old granite espigueiro. The views open onto the valley.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes, the estate is pet-friendly. Let us know when you enquire and we will share the house rules for pets.

Is there Wi-Fi, parking and an EV charger?

Yes to all three. Wi-Fi is free, parking is on the property and there is an EV charger for guests.

How much does a stay cost?

Rates start from €610 per night for exclusive use of the whole estate. The final price depends on the season and the length of your stay.

Is there a minimum stay?

The minimum stay is 2 nights for most of the year. Over Christmas and New Year (19 December to 4 January) and at Easter it is 3 nights, and in summer (July and August) it is 5 nights.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 10:00. If you need a different time, tell us when you book and we will do our best.

How do I book?
